And i’ve had the best luck finding “collaboration” by hopping into genre-specific Discords spun up around itch.io jams — start at Game jams - itch.io, share a tiny vertical slice, and make one clear ask. Big subs and mega-servers are great for inspiration but can be noisy; if you prefer face-to-face support, local @IGDA meetups are a solid complement.
