That time I glitched through the floor

You ever find yourself laughing at your own misfortunes while testing? I was trying to optimize a jump mechanic in this new platformer when I suddenly glitched right through the floor and fell into an endless void. It’s like the game was telling me, ‘You’re not supposed to be here, buddy!’ These moments remind me why I love testing, even if they end up being a bit ridiculous.

I totally get that! I’ve had my fair share of falling through gaps in level design when testing with Unity. Sometimes it’s a good excuse to play around with the physics settings — just don’t forget to watch your FPS while tweaking.

I’ve had those moments too! It’s like a twist on the game design. Ever tried debugging while in that endless fall? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

Falling through the floor when you’re just trying to nail that jump mechanic can definitely feel like the game’s way of laughing at you! It’s almost like the universe is saying, ‘Not today!’ Have you thought about looking into collision detection issues in your level design? That might save you from another endless dive!
