Textures make or break your model

I’ve been experimenting with creating hyper-realistic textures for my latest character model, and I think it’s fascinating how much a tiny detail can elevate the overall look. I used Substance Painter for the skin textures, and the results were just stunning — has anyone else found specific techniques that really improved their texture work?

That attention to detail in textures can really transform a model. I’ve found that using height maps for subtle surface details works wonders — like adding pores or scars. Have you tried layering different materials for a more organic feel?
