Layering Sounds for Deeper Immersion

I’ve been experimenting with sound layering techniques in my latest project, and it’s incredible how depth can transform player experience. Would love to hear what others are using to build immersive audio environments. For instance, I’ve started incorporating ambiences that react to environment changes, which really adds life to the game.

I love the idea of ambiences reacting to environments! I tried using dynamic soundscapes in Unity, and it completely changed the atmosphere. Have you thought about layering variations for different times of day? :video_game:.
