Does accessibility help get offers

In my last 7 interviews, accessibility felt like a checkbox. I center my case studies on WCAG 2.2 — contrast ratios (4.5:1), keyboard focus, and screen reader flows prototyped in Figma — while keeping UI polish high, but recruiters redirect to “pixel-perfect” speed; if you’ve landed offers lately, does leading with inclusive patterns move the needle or should I rebalance?

What’s worked for me is opening with a 45s Loom on their live site, then a “pixel-perfect” a11y fix — show a crisp focus state + 4.5:1 token swap and the exact Figma handoff note — so it reads as speed and craft, not a checkbox; tiny caveat: ask first before auditing their product — want the outline I use for that clip?
