Breathing life into character animations

I’ve been experimenting with blending different animation styles to develop unique character personalities, and I’m curious about your approaches. Recently, I used Toon Boom Harmony for a short project, focusing on how subtle shifts in weight can dramatically change a character’s expression. Anyone else find unexpected success through a specific tool or technique?

I can totally relate to your discovery about weight shifts affecting a character’s >expression. It’s amazing how even slight adjustments in timing can transform a character’s personality. In one of my projects, using the animatics feature in Toon Boom really helped me to visualize those subtle changes before finalizing the animation.
